YAN GOERGEN

Born in Luxembourg and trained at H.E.L.B – Physiotherapy (Brussels), the Belgian School of Osteopathy (Brussels), and ADOK (Cologne), Yan Goergen has been practicing as a physiotherapist in Luxembourg for over twenty years.

He worked for 9 years in a back rehabilitation center in collaboration with Kieser Training, focusing on therapeutic strength training (Medizinische Kräftigungstherapie) and isokinetic muscle training (Biodex), including with high-level athletes.

In 2003, he worked as a volunteer physiotherapist at the Bijilo Medical Center near Serekunda, Gambia (West Africa), as part of a humanitarian project.

Since 2009, he has practiced in his private clinic in the Luxembourg-Gare district (Rue d’Anvers, formerly Rue Glesener). Specialized in back and spine conditions, joint rehabilitation, and sports physiotherapy, he also specializes in Trigger Point techniques, Cyriax, instrument-assisted myofascial fibrolysis ("Crochetage"), manual lymphatic drainage, rehabilitation for Parkinson’s disease, and treatment of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.
